I remember how at the beginning I was told not to lag behind But I was also told a lot of other things, like stay clear... Or maybe they said near to the mossy knoll by the steel pole. Anyway, my mind was taken away when I saw them dance and prance through the trees I tried to follow them but then someone looked up at me through the leaves. They fed ice inch as they boiled mops peed I bent down to tie my shoelace and realised it was getting to dark to see. And then again, through the trees they peeved They whispered, sipped and whined Didn't matter in the end, through the pines they hadn't the slightest clue The flag, blue, was snatched as the moon scowled. It darted, jived, jowls ablaze, and flapped its wings as it draped. Its eyes were glazed with a fearful gaze and its lower half was caked. It was a master of disguise who was sick of compromise, and it flapped its wings and draped.
